EXPLORE JAPAN – Japanese culture presentation

The cross-cultural sessions “EXPLORE JAPAN” is on the way!  AIW is going to have a series of 3 different presentations about Japanese culture until May.
1st session: “Japanese language and custom” – Monday Mar 31st, at Language Training Center
2nd session: “Origami envelopes and boxes” – Monday Apr. 21st at Indianapolis Public Library, Nora Branch
3rd session: “Japanese breakfast demo & tasting” – May (TBD)

 

The Second session “Origami envelopes and boxes” will be held on Monday April 21st 10:30am-12:30pm. You’ll make cute envelopes and neat candy box by just a piece of paper!

The first session which is called “Japanese language and customs” will be held on Monday March 31st 10am-12pm. Yoshi Ishikawa will instruct you how to pronounce Japanese naturally, how to say “hello” “see you” in Japanese, how to bow in Japanese way, and more about Japanese cultural things. Japanese themed refreshment will be served.
