Patrick Flaherty, the Director of Exhibitions and Director of the Broad Ripple Art Fair, will be demonstrating woodcut relief, a form of printmaking. Patrick will demonstrate the use of a press to print a pre-carved woodcut of the “Twisted House”, a sculpture in the 9 acre ARTSpark behind the main building. He will show examples of his work and the tools used in the process.
Following the program you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour through the Art Center and weather permitting, the ARTSpark, at no extra charge.
